Nothing impresses an interviewer/employer more than actual work experience and finished projects. If you’re new in this industry, try to get an internship. Also, start building an app portfolio on GitHub.
I applied for the very first job in the late ’90s. I had no prior work experience, but I listed about a dozen finished software projects in my CV.
Apparently, that was pretty convincing because they hired me on the spot.
